Effective 11 September 2026 · Publisher: Mohit Pandey, Founder, RoamWise

RoamWise publishes travel material to help a reader make a specific decision: which area to stay in, how to arrange a route, what a booking term means, or which costs belong in a budget. An article should show its reasoning and limits. A large page count, a long word count or an AI-written draft is not evidence that an article deserves publication.

How an article is made

  1. We start with a reader question and check whether an existing article can answer it.
  2. We prefer primary sources: transport operators, public authorities, destination managers and official rules. We check whether the page actually supports the claim; an official domain can still contain stale or irrelevant text.
  3. We write RoamWise's route comparison, worksheet or explanation in our own words. We record source URLs, the claim each source supports and the checked date.
  4. We separate sourced facts from planning suggestions. Budgets labelled illustrative use invented inputs to explain arithmetic; they are not disguised price surveys.
  5. Before publication, a person checks the draft, links, unsupported certainty, duplication and mobile readability. Automated checks help find defects but do not certify truth or originality.

What we will not claim

We do not describe a visit, payment, interview or measurement as firsthand unless the publisher has a record supporting it. We do not invent crowd percentages, “guaranteed” booking methods, safety assurances, current opening hours or prices. We do not convert one year's modelled weather into a universal travel score. When a source gives a manufacturer estimate or official description, we identify it as such.

AI assistance

Software may help locate candidate sources, find inconsistent wording, calculate an example or format a page. It cannot approve its own output. Unattended model output is not allowed to publish directly to the RoamWise travel collection. A named source remains necessary for factual claims, and the publisher remains responsible for corrections.

Commercial independence

An article should remain useful without clicking a purchase link. Any future sponsored placement or affiliate relationship must be identified near the relevant link. Payment cannot buy an unsupported ranking, a false review or the removal of a fair correction. Product pricing is maintained on the pricing page.

Dates and live conditions

Every article displays the date its facts were checked. Transport rules, entry requirements, weather, roads, prices and availability can change after that date. Readers should confirm time-sensitive details with the responsible provider before paying or travelling. A link in our source list shows what informed the article; it does not transfer responsibility to that source.

Corrections

Email founder@roamwise.co.in with the article URL, the sentence at issue, evidence and the date you checked it. We will investigate material corrections, update the article and its checked date, or remove a claim we cannot support. Repeated template pages removed during the September 2026 audit remain recoverable in Git history, while unsupported public URLs were retired.

Scope and safety
