RoamWise

Terms of Use

Last updated: 14 August 2026

These terms govern your use of RoamWise, operated by GYANVERSE, Almora, Uttarakhand, India. By using the app or website you agree to them.

1. What RoamWise is

RoamWise is a travel planning tool. It suggests itineraries, helps groups coordinate and split costs, and helps you discover places. RoamWise is not a travel agent and does not sell or book tickets, stays or tours. Where we link to booking sites such as IRCTC, ixigo or booking platforms, you are dealing with them, under their terms, not ours.

2. AI-generated content

Ailon Tusk and our itinerary features are powered by AI. AI can be wrong. Always verify anything that matters — prices, opening hours, visa and permit requirements, train timings, safety advice and travel restrictions — with the official source before you rely on it or spend money.

We are not liable for losses arising from acting on AI-generated suggestions without verifying them.

3. Your account

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules, and remove fraudulent contest entries.

5. Meeting people (Beacon)

Please read this. Beacon helps you find other travellers nearby. We do not verify anyone's identity or intentions. Meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and trust your instincts. You meet other users entirely at your own risk. Report anyone who behaves badly using the in-app report button.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you create. You grant us a limited licence to store and display it so the service can work (for example, showing your message to your group). You are responsible for what you post.

7. Payments

Paid plans, where offered, are described at the point of purchase. Founder pricing is limited to the first 1,000 members and is stated clearly. Payments are processed by third-party providers. Refunds are handled case by case — email us.

8. Availability

RoamWise is provided "as is". We do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features. We rely on third-party services (maps, AI providers, OpenStreetMap, Firebase) whose availability we do not control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, GYANVERSE is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from your travel decisions, from meeting other users, or from third-party bookings. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Almora, Uttarakhand having jurisdiction.
